4.61.7
Release Notes - Webdesk - Version 4.61.7 - November 5, 2025
⚠️ Important note: This release should not be used in production, as the "TaAggregateCalendarDates" job does not synchronize all entries correctly under certain conditions.
Improvements
SSO Login
-
[WD-19633] - SSO-authenticated users no longer receive an additional Webdesk two-factor prompt, since their authentication is already secured externally.
-
[WD-19556] - SSO logins are only possible if the client's URL matches the actual login address. This increases security for cross-client SSO logins.
Additional Improvements
-
[WD-19599] - The deletion of email forwarding rules was made more robust. The system now checks whether a rule was actually removed in O365 before deleting it locally. This better handles ambiguous status information from the interface.
-
[WD-19636] - The column labels for the 13th and 14th salary in the salary report in HR Expert were adjusted. Depending on usage, "13 + 14" or only "13" is now displayed to make the presentation clearer and easier to understand for users.
Bug Fixes
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- [WD-19664] - For logins via the JQM mobile app, no prompt was triggered despite two-factor authentication being enabled. This behavior was adjusted so that now only SSO-authenticated users are exempt from the 2FA prompt.
Event and Administration Functions
- [WD-19663] - Event administrators could no longer edit completed events. The editing functions for closed or unassigned events have been restored.
Additional Bug Fixes
-
[WD-19490] - The PoDeletePersonsAfterYears job aborted with an error message when deleting employees. The job now runs correctly again.
-
[WD-19634] - During data sync between RP/HR systems, error messages occurred due to license issues. The cause of the error has been fixed.
-
[WD-19523] - An error message occasionally occurred when opening the log settings. The stability of the log settings has been improved.
Technical Modernization
- [WD-19144] - An outdated library was replaced with a new one. This implemented a security recommendation from a penetration test and improved the foundation for future maintenance and compatibility.
