General:

Display of External Programs in Webdesk

For integrating external web applications into Webdesk EWP, the new configurable action "Po_OpenExternalProgram" was developed. The respective target URL must be specified in the configuration.
With this action, under certain circumstances, external websites (and thus also web applications) can be embedded into Webdesk via a specific menu item.

The prerequisite is a single sign-on solution and a sensible use of the third-party application, e.g. the ability to jump to other functions via URLs.

Management Lists:

Consideration of Titles in the Full-Text Search of the Management Lists

Titles, if entered, are now also taken into account in the full-text search of the management lists.
Entries in the search field are now made without an asterisk (the system automatically appends an asterisk to the beginning and the end of the search string; the separator for searching for multiple entries is still the space). The search parameters separated by spaces are combined with OR operators, which means that when searching for "Mag." and "Weiss", every user with the title Mag. and every user with Weiss in the name is found.

OrgJournal: Query with a "From" and "To" Date Possible

Possible query of the org journals (management lists) with a "from-to" date:

This can be set via the following parameter in the list configuration:

Creating PDF and xls Export Lists Directly from the Query Mask

It is now possible to select the output of the desired list as Excel or PDF directly from the query mask. In addition, the print view can also be created directly from the query mask. The list appears directly in the selected format.

Anonymizing Certain Absence Reasons in the Group Calendar

For data protection reasons, certain absence reasons can be anonymized, or the detail view can be suppressed for certain groups.

Anonymizing absence reasons for certain groups

For certain absence reasons, a generic absence reason can be entered. These absence reasons are displayed for certain groups (e.g. loose or specific hierarchical groups):

  • Absence reasons
Absence reasons that should not appear in the attendance board (enter the absence reason numbers from Time & Attendance)
  • Groups
Enter the group abbreviation for the groups for which the absence reason should be "overridden" (multiple groups are entered separated by commas, without spaces). Wildcards (*) can also be used in the configuration (KOST* anonymizes the absence reasons for all groups that begin with 'KOST')
  • Anonymized absence reason
Enter a neutral absence reason here (defined absence reason numbers from Time & Attendance)

Suppressing the Detail View in Calendar Views

Suppressing the detail view for certain groups

If a certain group is entered here, this group does not get a detail view of the absence reason in the calendar or group calendar on mouse-over. As with the anonymization of absence reasons, wildcards can also be used in the configuration (KOST* suppresses the display of absence reasons for all groups that begin with 'KOST')

Display of "Absent Without Excuse" in the Monthly Journal

If the parameter "Show absent without excuse" is set to YES, a note "Absent without excuse" is displayed in the journal on days on which no booking took place and on which no absence is scheduled. If set to NO, the display in the journal remains empty.

Caution with part-time employees: currently, this absence code is also displayed for an "empty" day of a part-time employee (not useful, since bookings are not made every day).

View for the user:

Display of Vacation on Special Days

It is now also possible to display vacations on special days that have a target time. The parameter that enables this behavior can be found in the administration under System parameters\generateCalendarDayOnSatSunAndHolidays = true.

Extension of editRebookings

In the transfer booking views, the role permissions for viewing the requests are resolved.

The following functionality was added:

  • Display of requests according to view permission
  • Selection of requests by department (preferably via the organization chart)

Personal Appointment Calendar

A personal appointment calendar is now available.

Requests/Processes:

Displaying the Journal in the Account Correction Request

It is now also possible in the account correction form to retrieve the journal of the current user.

Setting Permissions with the Time Correction/Absence Request Form

The Time Correction and Absence Request forms were extended with the following feature: Setting a permission for the future/past.
The settings for this can be found in the process definition of the request, on the Settings \ Daily permissions tab:

Selecting Permissions

If multiple permissions are configured in a permission process, the user can choose when creating the request which of the permissions should be entered, provided the parameter "Permissions selectable by user" is set in the configuration of the permission request.

Extension of Journal Views with Daily Program Information

The journal views now also offer the option of displaying information from the daily program (for example daily program number, core hours, etc.).

Filter Extension for getOrgJournal, getOrgCalendar, getStatistic and getAttendenceTableau

This parameter enables the selection of loose groups in the organization chart (filter). If a loose group is entered here, then, when checked in the selection organization chart during the query, only the persons contained in this group are displayed.
Example: If the group "Pauschalisten" (flat-rate employees) is entered for this parameter and the supervisor has the view permission for Group01, the supervisor will see all persons of Group01 who are also flat-rate employees when querying the list.

Job "Systemnotification Doctor Visit" for the HR Department

The function of the system notification doctor job is to create a system notification as an information tool for a certain role.
If an employee books "Doctor visit" during working hours, an irregularity is created in the Time & Attendance system. After the irregularities are checked, a system message is created and sent, for example, to the HR department instead of, as usual, to the affected user. The HR department then knows that a time confirmation from the doctor must be submitted here.

Extension of System Notices with Account Value and Employee Names

The system notices can be configured so that a certain account value and the name of the employee concerned are displayed.

Example of the entry to be made (here an example for account "vkkonto55"):

Doctor visit by $person.getFullName() on $fromdate
#set($ta_service = $appCtx.getBean("Ta") ) #set($jvalue = $ta_service.getAccountValue($ta_id, $eventDate, "vkkonto55") ) #set($person = $appCtx.getBean("PoOrganisationService").findPersonByTaId($ta_id) )
Doctor visit for $person.getFullName() from $fromdate hours $jvalue.getNumValueAsIm()

Job for Periodic Deletion of Webdesk Logs

A new job was set up that deletes all logs older than a certain number of days. This job makes it possible to keep the number of Webdesk logs, and thus also the size of the database, small.

Job for Swapping Daily Programs Depending on Booking Constellations

For certain absence reasons, on days on which this absence reason is present as an interval, the daily program is automatically swapped for another one. This substitute daily program is linked to the original daily program via the target time in the IF6020 configuration.
In addition, if presence intervals exist, any gap between all intervals is filled with a configurable absence reason.

Template File Connector

It is now possible to use the configurable action "po_manageFileTransfers.act" to also trigger transfers that use the TemplateFileConnector as the target connector. This can be useful, e.g., to create an Edifact V3 data carrier. Furthermore, in the TemplateConnector it can now be specified that all carriage returns + linefeeds are filtered out of the output.

For more detailed information on the configuration, see our Administration Manual.

Part-Time Factor

A part-time factor entered in the IF6020 system is now also taken into account in the monthly journal of Webdesk (calculation of the target time).

Changes in the Menu Tree: editMenuTreeExtended

With the action editMenuTreeExtended, the administrator can create various menu templates, which can then easily be adopted for multiple clients. By using the templates, actions that should appear identically in the menu for multiple clients can now be handled easily.

Name Display in Process Definition

A distinction is now made between the ID and the title of a process definition. While the ID remains unchangeable after the initial creation of a process definition, the title can be changed at any time.
