Purpose and Status​

The job supports time tracking for concurrent employments. It requires HR and TA, runs transactionally, is not configurable, and is active by default in the job descriptor.

Processing​

  • The job checks secondary employments of persons who already have a TA ID.
  • At the start of a valid secondary employment, an additional TA person record is created based on the person. The person receives the new TA ID; the original TA ID is stored in the primary employment and the new TA ID in the secondary employment.
  • The new TA person record is marked as the effective employment, the original one as not effective.
  • At the end of the secondary employment, the original TA ID is reactivated on the person and the effectiveness of the two TA person records is reset.
  • Persons without a TA ID are skipped.
