Purpose and Status​

The job periodically starts appraisal interview processes for selected persons. It requires HR and Workflow, is configurable, and is inactive by default in the job descriptor.

Configuration​

  • Process definition (processDefinition): Workflow process definition to be started.
  • Periodicity (periodicity): Annually, Quarterly, or Monthly.
  • Person, Group, and Client: Selection of the processing scope. If no selection is made and the job is assigned to a client, the persons of that client are used.
  • Process author (processAuthor): Optional user on whose behalf the process is started. If not specified, the system user is used.
  • Automatically complete first activity (finishFirstActivity): Controls whether the first manual activity is ended automatically after the start.

Processing​

For each selected person, a check is made whether an interview or a corresponding open process already exists in the current period. Only if this is not the case is a new process started. The process definition must provide the required variables for employee, manager, and person name.
