Configuring the home page
By configuring the action "po_welcome.act", the administrator can configure the individual home page (welcome page) of Webdesk users. The following steps are required:
- Create a new configuration of the action "po_welcome.act"
- Assign the appropriate permissions for the new configuration (clients, roles, groups, persons)
- On the "Settings" tab, click "Edit configuration details", where the following fields must be filled in:
| Hide customer name on the home page | If this checkbox is activated, the company name is hidden on the home page |
|---|---|
| Show message block only (default) | On mobile devices, only the message block is displayed, without user-defined blocks |
| Show user-defined blocks only | On mobile devices, only user-defined blocks are displayed; the message block is hidden |
| Show user-defined block, followed by message | On mobile devices, the user-defined block is displayed first; when scrolling, it is followed by the message block |
| Appearance for "Custom Block" | General animation: Hand animation with rotating gearsCustom Block: uses the information from the "Custom Block" text field below; if this is empty, the default animation is usedHide the entire "Custom Block" |
| Custom Block | A primarily empty text field that can be changed and adapted as desired by programming in HTML code |
| Load general 'Custom block' into the text area | Clicking this button loads the default programming of the Custom Block in HTML format into the text field so that it can then be edited |
After the configuration, confirm the changes with "Save" or with "Save and Close". Two more steps are then necessary for the new home page to be displayed:
- Integrate the new configuration into the menu tree
- For the original action "po_welcome.act", assign negative permissions to those users who are to use the new home page, so that the new configuration can be applied for them.
Example - General Custom Block:
<table id="custom-block">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Information</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Full name: $user.getFullName()</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td> <img src="$user.getPersonImages().getOriginal().getDownloadUrl();"
height="100" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Org structure:
$appCtx.getBean("PoOrganisationService").getOrgStructure( $user
).getName()</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
Example - Customized Custom Block (here with an additional radio embedded):
<div>
<iframe width="480" height="120"
src="http://stream.radio886.at/radio_88.6"
frameborder="0" style="overflow:hidden;" ></iframe>
<table id="custom-block">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Information</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Full name: $user.getFullName()</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td> <img src="$user.getPersonImages().getOriginal().getDownloadUrl();"
height="100" /> This is my personal Webdesk </td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Org structure:
$appCtx.getBean("PoOrganisationService").getOrgStructure( $user
).getName()</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</div>
